GPT Image 2 in Inliner Studio
GPT Image 2 is available directly inside Inliner Studio. If you need strong prompt adherence, better text rendering, packaging mockups, UI-heavy visuals, or precise edits from reference images, this is the model to reach for.
This banner is generated by Inliner with an explicit model override:
?model=IMAGE_GEN_GPT_IMAGE_2.
OpenAI describes gpt-image-2 as its state-of-the-art image generation model for fast, high-quality generation and editing, with text and image inputs plus both generation and edit endpoints. Inliner exposes that capability as GPT Image 2 in the Studio model picker.
Inside Inliner, GPT Image 2 is the explicit choice when you care more about instruction following and layout fidelity than pure speed or lowest-cost generation.
Picker label
In Studio, select GPT Image 2 from the Model dropdown.
Internal value
Inliner maps that picker option to IMAGE_GEN_GPT_IMAGE_2.
OpenAI model
The backend uses the OpenAI model identifier gpt-image-2.
Studio defaults
Supported sizes are 1024x1024, 1536x1024, and 1024x1536 with low, medium, or high quality.
What GPT Image 2 is good at
These examples use the same pattern you can use anywhere in Inliner: a normal image URL with an explicit ?model=IMAGE_GEN_GPT_IMAGE_2 override.
Packaging and label concepts
Use GPT Image 2 when the mockup needs readable text, hierarchy, and packaging layout that stays close to the brief.

UI-heavy hero concepts
It works well for landing-page visuals where interface framing, chart layout, and product-marketing composition matter more than painterly style.

Poster and campaign creative
For ad comps, posters, and social promo layouts, GPT Image 2 is the better fit when you need headline placement and clearer structural rhythm.

Structured product variants
It is also a strong choice for concepting variant systems: multiple SKUs, typography zones, colorway changes, and front-of-pack consistency.

When Inliner uses GPT Image 2
Inlinerβs model-selection logic explicitly prefers GPT Image 2 for prompts that need precise text, dense layouts, packaging, product imagery, or strong instruction following. When reference images are attached, Inliner still defaults to Nano Banana 2 for identity preservation, but it switches to GPT Image 2 when the job is more about exact text and composition than subject continuity.
- Marketing graphics with readable text or headlines inside the image
- Product packaging, labels, and visual merchandising concepts
- UI mockups, infographics, and layout-sensitive scenes
- Reference-aware edits where instruction fidelity matters more than speed
- Detailed product shots that need strict prompt adherence
How to select GPT Image 2 from the model picker
Find Model
In the main controls row, open the Model dropdown. The default value is Auto.
Select GPT Image 2
Choose GPT Image 2. Inliner will send the request with the model override instead of relying on Auto selection.
Generate or edit
Run the prompt normally. If you add reference images, Inliner uses the OpenAI edit path for GPT Image 2 instead of a plain generate request.
What happens under the hood
Inliner uses OpenAIβs image generation and image edit endpoints for GPT Image 2. For plain prompts, it sends a generation request. When you attach reference images and still force GPT Image 2, it prepares those references and uses the edit endpoint instead.

Common output controls in Inliner:
- Sizes: 1024x1024, 1536x1024, 1024x1536
- Quality: low, medium, high
- Formats: png, jpeg, webp
- Transparent background: png workflows onlyWhen to force it instead of leaving Auto
Use the explicit picker selection when you do not want the system to optimize for a different tradeoff. That usually means:
- You need reliable text in the generated image
- You are mocking up packaging or layouts where spacing matters
- You want OpenAI-based editing with reference images
- You are comparing model outputs and need deterministic model choice
